It’s always dangerous to lay out your route, together with dates, before you’ve even set off, so the only thing we can be certain about what’s below is that it’ll be wrong. Somewhere we’ll get stuck, we’ll deviate, or, hopefully, we’ll find a bit of paradise in which to linger longer than planned.  So take all this with a pinch of salt, and don’t hold us to it when we do something completely different!

We’ll be starting early summer from the Ionian in Greece, where Pacific Pearl has been living for the last few years (last 2 years under our ownership). From there, across the Ionian Sea to Sicily, the Aoelian Islands and the Amalfi coast, before heading over Sardinia.  Onwards west across the Med to the Balearic Islands and SE Spain, reaching Gibraltar around the end of September.  Then down to the Canaries, either direct, via Madeira, or possibly down the Moroccan coast, before joining the ARC in Gran Canaria.  A 18-21 day “hop” across the Atlantic to St Lucia should see us in the Caribbean for Christmas, where plans become a bit more vague. I suspect we'll head south first, possibly as far as Grenada, before making a generally north passage with a view of getting to the BVI and possibly Turks and Caicos islands by April.  We've a load of islands on our bucket list including the Grenadines, Dominica and Antigua.  Then back to the Europe  via Bermuda and the Azores before reconnecting with our UK life in July - back to work, back to school (after school holidays!) and onwards.

Suggestions, recommendations are very welcome, and keep an eye on our plans as they update through the year.
